The Indian Vulture is a large species of Old World vulture that lives in eastern parts of the Indian subcontinent, including parts of Pakistan. Indian Vultures are critically endangered, in major part due to the use of livestock medication that causes high rates of vulture mortality. Vultures are an important part of the environment and conservationists are working hard to try to save this declining species.
