Faverolles

About the Faverolles
Faverolles

The Faverolles is a French breed of domestic chicken. While first raised as farm animals, the breed is mainly used for exhibition today. Cock Faverolles are generally black and white, while females range from salmon to creamy white.

Faverolles are different from other breeds of chicken in that they have five toes instead of four. These handsome birds have heavy beards and feathered feet.

Faverolles are known to have a friendly disposition, and are often used as pets or in small domestic hen houses.
