Birdorable White Stork

Baby Birdorable: White Stork

April 2nd, 2010 in Baby Birds 1 comment

If you think our Birdorable birds are cute as adults, what about when they are babies? Here are some baby photos (shared via Flickr) of the White Stork. Baby White Storks are hatched in huge nests across parts of Europe and western parts of Asia. The nests are often close to human habitation and may be built on church spires or utility towers.

Pretty cute, right? If you'd like to see some of these cuties for yourself, you can, through the magic of the Internet! There is a live streaming webcam of a White Stork nest in the Netherlands on the website Beleef de Lente. The baby storks are expected to hatch on about April 25th. Stay tuned and you'll get a glimpse of cute baby storks live and in color! And in the meantime, be sure to check out our (adult) White Stork gear!
