Green-cheeked Parakeets are small parrots that are native to parts of South America. Their plumage is mostly green, with a dark crown, white eyering, and green cheeks. The primary feathers are blue, while the tail and belly are dark red. Males and females look alike. A yellow morph of the Green-cheeked Parakeet also occurs; this is known as the Yellow-sided Conure.
