The Blue-billed Curassow is a critically endangered species endemic to Colombia. There may be fewer than 700 of these birds living in the wild as of 2015. Several groups, including some zoos, are working to save this species from extinction. This is an unusual-looking species with a turkey-like appearance and curly feathers on the top of the head.
