The Cedar Waxwing is a member of the waxwing family of passerine birds. It breeds in open wooded areas in North America, principally southern Canada and the northern United States. They are named for the bright red tips on their inner wing feathers that resemble blobs of wax. This is our totally cute Birdorable Cedar Waxwing!
