Tree Swallows are small birds that breed across much of North America and migrate to Mexico and Central America for the winter. They have dark iridescent upperparts and white underparts. Females have similar plumage to males, although they are typically duller. Tree Swallows feed primarily on insects. They fly through the air to catch prey items on the wing. They also occasionally feed on fruits. This is our totally cute Birdorable Tree Swallow!
