Collared Redstart
The Collared Redstart, also known as the Collared Whitestart, is a small species of warbler endemic to central parts of both Costa Rica and western Panama where it is found living above 1500 meters in altitude.

This little bird has a brightly colored plumage and an animated demeanor. They are recognized by their yellow faces and underparts, dark grey upperparts, and rufous crown. The tail is black outlined with white outer feathers and the eyes are black.

Collared Redstarts feed on insects which they forage in foliage, often by flashing their tails while on the hunt for prey.
