The Cyprus Wheatear is a small songbird that breeds exclusively on the island of Cyprus. These little relatives of flycatchers are migratory and winter in the Sudan and Ethiopia.

The Cyprus Wheatear is also known as the Cyprus Pied Wheatear because of its pied plumage. The neck, face, wings and black are black or dark; the crown and chest are white or buffy.

Despite its restricted breeding range, ss of September 2012, the Cyprus Wheatear has a conservation status of Least Concern. The species is found in the logo for BirdLife Cyprus.
