The Grey Wagtail is a species of wagtail with a wide distribution across parts of the Old World. Their breeding range covers much of northern Asia and they winter across much of south Asia, as well as in parts of Africa. Migratory and resident populations are found across Europe as well.

Grey Wagtails have grey upperparts and yellow underparts, with a black chin and handsome white eyeline. During breeding season especially, their preferred habitat includes running water. They feed on aquatic small animals and insects during this time, feeding mostly on insects during the winter.
