Horned Guan

The Horned Guan is a large turkey-like bird with black-and-white plumage, red legs, yellow bill and a red horn on the top of its head. It lives in humid mountain forests of southeast Mexico and Guatamala and can be found at altitudes of up to 11,000 feet.

The Horned Guan has been evaluated as en endangered species on the IUCN Red List of threatened species due to its small population size and habitat loss.
