The Pink-headed Fruit Dove is a small and colorful species of dove. Alternative names for this species include Pink-necked Fruit Dove and Temminck’s Fruit Pigeon. They are endemic to Indonesia, where they are found in mountain forests. They feed on figs, fruits, and berries.

Male Pink-headed Fruit Doves can be recognized by their bright purplish pink heads, dark green upperparts, and bands of white and greenish black across the breast. Females have similar coloration but their colors are duller.
