The Spectacled Flowerpecker is a species of flowerpecker found in southwestern Borneo. The species is relatively new to science; despite first being seen in 2009, it was first formally described in October of 2019.
Although the Spectacled Flowerpecker has been studied and described, a lot of information remains unknown about this species. Clues from their diet, which includes a species of mistletoe, helps to inform preferred habitat and potential range.
