The Superb Starling is a colorful and gregarious species of starling that lives in parts of East Africa.

Adult Superb Starlings dark iridescent body feathers ranging from black on the head to blue and green on the body. The breast feathers contrast sharply with their bright reddish-orange coloration. Males and females look alike.

Superb Starlings are widespread and abundant across their natural range and have a conservation status of Least Concern as of July 2013.
