The Toco Toucan is a large species of toucan, and the most familiar bird of the toucan family. They are resident birds in their central and eastern South American range.

Toco Toucans, like all toucan species, have huge beaks. Toco Toucan bills are yellow-orange with a large black spot at the tip. Their striking plumage includes a black body with a bright white throat and red undertail-coverts.
