Vermilion Flycatchers are small perching birds that live in the Southwestern U.S. down to central South America. Males are strikingly colored bright red with a mask-like stripe across the eyes. The flycatchers grow to about seven inches in length, and feed mostly on insects such as flies, grasshoppers and beetles. It is a favorite among birders. This is our totally cute Birdorable version of the Vermilion Flycatcher.
