The Western Gull is a large species of gull found along the west coast of North America. They nest on offshore islands and rocky coastal areas.
Western Gulls feed on marine prey like fish, and invertebrates like squid, crabs, and snails. They will also take eggs and chicks from other species as prey.
While Western Gulls are not considered to be threatened, they have an extremely small range, especially for a gull.
