Yellow-billed Stork

The Yellow-billed Stork is a large species of wading bird found in parts of sub-Saharan Africa. Breeding adults of the species can be recognized by having a white body, the namesake yellow bill, and a bare, reddish face and forehead. Adult females and males are similar in appearance, though males are larger in size.

Yellow-billed Storks are non-migratory residents throughout their range, where they can be found in a variety of wetland habitat types. Yellow-billed Storks feed by foraging for prey in water. They dine on frogs and fish and other small aquatic animals.
