About the Galah

Also known as: Rose-breasted Cockatoo, Galah Cockatoo, Roseate Cockatoo, Pink and Grey, Willock

The Galah, also known as the Rose-breasted Cockatoo or Pink and Grey, is widespread parrot in Australia, where it can be commonly seen in the bush as well as urban areas such as Perth and Melbourne. Galahs nest in tree cavities and are with their partner for life. In captivity they can live to reach the age of 70 to 80 years.
