The Gray-headed Lovebird is a small species of lovebird native to Madagascar. These little parrots are also known as Madagascar Lovebirds. They are the only species of lovebird that does not live on the mainland of Africa.

Grey-headed Lovebirds are sexually dimorphic, which means that males have a different plumage from females. Only the male birds have a gray head; females are green.

The Grey-headed Lovebird is the smallest species of lovebird in the world. They have a conservation status of Least Concern; they are not particularly popular in aviculture.
