Jandaya Conure

Jenday Conures, also known as Jandaya Parakeets, are small colorful parrots native to northeastern Brazil. They have orange heads and necks, reddish breasts, green bodies, and feathers of blue, green and yellow on the tail.

Jenday Conures are cavity nesters, preferring to use tree hollows at least 50 feet from the ground. The conservation status of the Jenday Conure is considered Least Concern. These birds are very popular in aviculture, and can leave up to 30 years in captivity.
