Grey-hooded Parakeets are named for their grey crowns, or hoods. They have green upperparts and light grey underparts. They are also called Sierra Parakeets or Aymara Parakeets. They are relatively uncommon in aviculture; in the wild they are considered to have a conservation status of “Least Concern”.
