Japanese Waxwing

The Japanese Waxwing is a beautiful species of songbird that doesn't have 'waxy' wingtips and does not breed in Japan. It *is* closely related to its Bombycilla family members, Bohemian Waxwings and Cedar Waxwings. And more... it does *winter* in Japan. So the name makes sense, if you think about it. This is our totally cute Birdorable Japanese Waxwing!
