Florida Scrub-Jay

The Florida Scrub-Jay is a Florida endemic, meaning the species lives only in Florida. Florida Scrub-Jays have blue heads, napes, bibs and wings. Their bellies and foreheads are whitish. Unfortunately, Florida Scrub-Jays are threatened, with just 4,000 breeding pairs counted in a 1993 survey. This is our totally cute Birdorable Florida Scrub-Jay!
